Holy Cattle Mutilations Batman!

I would like to share an experience I had back in either the summer of ’94 or ’95. Unfortunately, it has been a while since this happened so the details are kind of fuzzy. I was working part time for a rancher in northern Colorado, doing odd jobs around his property. One afternoon I was out back mowing down the weeds in his horse pasture. As I was mowing I noticed a dead cow laying on the ground in the pasture of the property adjacent to where I was. I got off the tractor and climbed over the fence to get a closer look. What I had found was basically a mutilated cow. It was younger, not fully grown, and was lying on the ground under a tree. It didn’t appear to have been there very long; there was no rotting smell and no blood on the ground. The carcass hadn’t started to decay so my best guess is that it was only a day or two old. It fit the classic example of a mutilated cow. The eyes and tongue appeared to have been cut out, the anal region was cored out, and there were small circular holes on the underbelly that looked like they were burnt off. There was a long cut down the abdomen and the guts had been removed. And if I remember correctly one of the ears was missing.

At that time in my life I had been doing some research on cattle mutilations in Colorado so you can imagine my excitement when I actually happened to find one! I notified the wife of my employer, she in turned called her neighbor who owned the cow. I led her to where the cow was located and she took a couple of pictures with her camera. We discussed what I had found and I shared with her what I had already been researching about cattle mutilations. As far as I know, the owner of the cow removed the carcass and never notified any authorities.

To this day I can’t definitively say who or what was responsible for mutilating that cow. There are many theories that try to explain these mutilations including natural predators, cults, our own government, and lastly extraterrestrial involvement. I would like to share with you my opinion on these theories.

Let’s start with the natural predator theory. I am by no means an expert in the fields of animal biology or predatory behaviors. However, I can honestly say that what I saw did not look natural in any way. If predators had gotten to this cow and started to eat away why was there no blood? Why would the tongue have been removed in what appeared to be in a surgical manner? Why was the anal region hollowed out? It just seems to be that if the cause was related to predators this would have looked more barbaric.

I really don’t put much thought into the cult theory basically because I don’t believe people involved with a cult would be able to pull off such a feat without getting caught. Also, how would they be able to remove parts of the cow without getting blood everywhere, unless they performed the massacre in a different location and brought the cow back. Again, this would make for too many opportunities to be noticed.

Now the theory that our government is performing these experiment makes a little more sense, however, I find one major flaw to the idea. If you have ever researched this phenomenon you will know that a lot of these mutilations happen in remote places. If some group within our government was abducting cattle and taking them somewhere to perform top secret experiments why on earth would they bring the cows back to where they got them? Wouldn’t returning to the scene of the crime just open up more possibilities to being discovered? Wouldn’t it just be easier to discard the dismembered bodies by incinerating them? I mean if they are removing the cows to do experiments at a remote location why not just dispose of them in the same manner.

Lastly, that leaves us with the theory that aliens did it. To me this seems to be the most logical explanation out of the others. Of course, belief in this theory requires a belief that aliens are visiting earth. If aliens really are visiting earth and wanted to know more about environmental impacts on life could they find this out by what is going on with cattle mutilations? If there was some sort of genetic findings they were after could they find this out through cows? I guess there is no certain answer to explain all the cattle mutilations, in the end we are stuck with our own opinions.

If it was the government why wouldn’t they just raise their own cows and experiment on them in a private pasture? And what could the government possibly learn by hollowing out the anus of a cow? Natural predators would have eaten the meat and left just the carcass, unless they were interrupted by another predator, etc. Still, the body would have been ravaged rather than mutilated in a surgical manner. As for cults, I would think they’d take the cow back to their coven or whatever and sacrifice it by cutting its throat – not mutilating it. Since none of those theories make much sense, I guess we’re left with the alien theory. Maybe they’re curious about animal anatomy. And then there are the people who claim to have been abducted by aliens and probed in all sorts of ways. If they are telling the truth then again it could be curiosity about anatomy. None of those people seem to have been really harmed by the abductions, unless you count the psychological ramifications of such an ordeal. So the aliens must have some sense of morality or at least be aware that humans have it, or they’d mutilate and kill the humans as well as the cows.

I agree, that would be another reason not to buy into the gov. theory.

Have you ever did any research into Scientology? They believe we come from aliens. I think they’re a bunch of nuts, but you might find their beliefs about our alien “origins” interesting. When researching a topic it’s nice to get a well-rounded understanding by reading about not only the ideas you agree with, but also the viewpoints of those you don’t believe. I found the following link on yahoo, and it’s almost comical. Check it out sometime when you have time:

I haven’t really looked too much into Scientology, but I have heard their beliefs about our origins. It may sound far fetched, however, it is a possibility. Have you ever heard of the Ancient Alien theory? Many of the supporters of Ancient Alien theory have varying beliefs that Aliens have something to do with our existence.

I am open to the possibility that we originated from aliens (the term “alien” meaning the unknown or foreign), but I am skeptical about the stereotypical little green men, although I suppose anything is possible. I just think the Scientologists are nutty because they think they have the inside track into everything about these aliens, including their names and planets and the whole story as to how mankind came to be. If these aliens really wanted us to know who and what they are, why would they come in secret to mutilate cows and abduct people for experiments? Wouldn’t they just tell a Scientologist to meet them somewhere with a cow? If they created us wouldn’t they already know about our anatomy? I think it’s certainly possible that we come from some kind of entities that have a much higher vibration than what’s in the physical realm, and that they possess a higher consciousness than we do. I guess I don’t see them as being “physical” like us. Matter only exists in the physical universe, and I’ve always thought that God or whatever created us, was outside of that. It’s pure consciousness and energy. Although there could be other physical beings out in the cosmos somewhere that were created by “God” as well. Maybe they’re just as curious and confused as we are as to why we’re here.

One theory goes that we were all once, for a lack of a better term, cavemen/women. A certain race of aliens came here and tampered with our DNA making what we are today.

Maybe that’s why scientists can’t find the so-called “missing link”: there isn’t one. We went from cavepeople to what we are today without any Darwinian evolution. So does the theory say whether the aliens created the cavemen and then decided to change them into today’s man, or did they just happen upon our planet and wondered what would happen if they altered our DNA? Either way would explain why they allegedly come here to experiment on people. They’d want to know what effect their changes had on us. They may have even tampered with the DNA of animals too.

You should look into ancient Sumerian culture.

Zecharia Sitchin has written several books on it, you might consider reading something from him.

I have read a little. Although I can’t say for sure what their beliefs were, I have heard that they more or less believed that we had visitors from the sky.
